Build-a-bear is a toy brand that specializes in personalized teddy bears.

Build-a-bear sells on the concept that a child can select the Bear they want, plus any outfit and the bear will be filled and dressed before their eyes. In addition, the dolls are usually able to wear any outfit, allowing multiple amount of mix and matching of different outfits. Bears are sold either clothed with one of the available outfits, or naked without them (therefore having to be purchased separately). Speech inserts can also be bought to give a bear sayings.
The items available in the USA and UK aren't always identical. Thus, certain items can only be bought from either territory.
