The Clouds are a type of sentient clouds that exist within the world of the Trolls.
History[]
The first Cloud, Cloud Guy appeared in Trolls. There is little else on them but Cloud Guy returns in every media thus far.
Biology[]
Appearance[]
They resemble average clouds with arms and legs sticking out, as well as a face.
In 2D animation, they tend to have eyebrows, but they lack these in 3D animation, with their browline being made up of part of their cloud formation, which is used in place of eyebrows to express their emotions.
- Sexual Dimorphism
Females are identified from males via a combination of eyelashes, voice and a slightly feminine-looking appearance. Males do not have eyelashs and have a deeper voice and more masculine appearences.
- Juveniles
Appear as small Clouds with a lack of legs but have arms.
Tribal Abilities[]
They can do anything real life clouds do, thus can create rain, sleet, snow, thunder. They cannot be destoryed easy but can be contained in jaws and other sealed objects and are subject to vacuums.
Habitat[]
Most Clouds live in the sky.

- Cloud Guy's sister - mentioned in "Two's A Cloud".
- Evil Cloud Guy - appears in Guy Diamond and the Rainbow Roundup. At the end of the book, he becomes known as Used to Be Evil Cloud Guy.
- Thundercloud - in a cut scene animatic of Trolls World Tour, Janet went into a rebound relationship with a large thundercloud.
Society[]
Most Clouds shown live carefree lives or seek such livelihoods. Cloud Guy and his parents are tormenters at times, causing hassle for others in the form of pranks. Other Clouds are seen in Cloud Temple living a life of enlightenment as monks under a vow of silence.

Trivia[]
- Cut scene animatics reveal the name of Cloud Guy's wife as "Janet", while their kids' names are revealed as "Windy", "Stormy" and "Jr.". In addition, the scene of Guy Diamond giving birth to Tiny Diamond was most likely based on how the triplets were born; when Cloud Guy gave birth to the trio, they popped out of his head.
