Dr. Groovetavius Ravenhug, often referred to as just Dr. Ravenhug, is a villain who appears in the Trolls: TrollsTopia episode "To Hug A Snug-A-Lug".

Appearance

Dr. Ravenhug is a dark purple and blue colored Funk Troll who is both bipedal and quadrupedal. He has a dark blue hair and a matching goatee beard. He is missing his left eye and wears an eyepatch. He has similarities to Lownote Jones and the pair are loosely based on the same character design. He has a deep-sounding and raspy voice with a British Accent.

Personality

He is persistent and dedicated to his work. He talks in a posh manner and is somewhat eccentric with an evil-sounding laugh.

Relationships

Lownote Jones

Lownote Jones and Ravenhug were scientists and good old friends, but the issues with the Snug-a-lug hugging theory they came up with left them at odds. Lownote no longer wished to put the world at risk while Ravenhug wished to keep trying despite the risks. This left them at odds with each other, with Lownote having to protect his precious pet numerous times from him.

He has most normal Troll abilities as well as the abilities of his Tribe.

Intelligence

He is quite intelligent and is a schemer. After the events of "The Snug-a-lug Situation", he found out another Snug-a-lug existed and went after that, only to trick Lownote to leave his own Snug-a-lug unguarded.

Science

He is a scientist who, along with Lownote Jones, worked on a theory on how to hug a Snug-a-lug in the right way. When the risks of things going wrong were too high, Lownote Jones gave up on the idea but Ravenhug did not give up. Due to how dangerous getting the hug wrong could be, this made Ravenhug a threat since Snug-a-lug's multiply until they take over a planet when hugged.

He knows how to make wormholes and has other Funk Science knowledge.

Music

He plays a bass guitar. The direction he plays in indicates he is left-handed.

Trivia

• He is based on Emilio Largo, one of the most famous James Bond villains. Largo first appeared in Thunderball and has since become an iconic villain in Pop Culture.
