Troll Village is a location within Troll Kingdom that is home to the Pop Trolls. In Trolls World Tour and its related media, it is referred to as Pop Village or Pop Troll Village instead. It has also been called Trolls' Village.

Troll Village was established by King Peppy in the upper north part of Troll Forest. The forest served to hide the Trolls from the Bergens. This location is their second home, as they abandoned the Troll Tree 20 years prior to the events of Trolls.

The forest is quite some way from Bergen Town, but reachable within a day or two of walking, even by Troll standards, via the Tunnels of Certain Death. In Trolls Holiday: The Junior Novelization, it was said to be quite some distance away, and the quick route was via Caterbus.

Due to the inconsistences between various media, the locations within the village may vary depending on the source, often being dependent on plot points. In the films, only the Pop Trolls' living pods are seen, but many other locations appear in the series and books.

The village has the three basics of the population's needs mentioned by King Peppy at the beginning of Trolls: fresh air, clean water and sweet acoustics.

The distance between Pop Village and the rest of the Troll Kingdom places is unknown. It takes an entire night to get to Symphonyville, a number of hours to get to Volcano Rock City, and an entire day to get from the river between Lonesome Flats and Vibe City. Besides Troll Kingdom, with use of the Tunnels of Certain Death, the time from this location to Bergen Town is over a day for a Troll, but likely much less than this for a Bergen due to their size and overall speed.

In Trolls: TrollsTopia, the village now became part of TrollsTopia as the city's section for the Pop Troll delegates.

Poppy's pod completely open from Trolls

The village consists mostly of "pods", which are built by the Pop Trolls out of their hair, making them biodegradable. They resemble tree decorations such as Christmas tree ornaments. In Trolls, they glowed at night or when flicked open by force.

The average pod consists of a bed, table and basic decorations like photographs. Pop Trolls typically don't have many possessions in their home, and they store most of their essentials in their hair. The pods themselves have holes that act as windows and entrances, but are able to completely open up as seen in Trolls with Poppy's pod, or partially as seen in Trolls World Tour, where Poppy used part of her pod to make a slide during Trolls Wanna Have Good Times. In Trolls, each pod has a vine that ties it to a tree, and goes through the pod into its base. In Trolls: The Beat Goes On!, the vine only goes to the top of the pod. In Trolls World Tour, parts of the pods form inside when required, such as Poppy's shower during Trolls Wanna Have Good Times; but in Trolls: The Beat Goes On! and Trolls: TrollsTopia, the furniture is stoic.

Most of the Pop Trolls collectively reside here, save Branch.

• Queen Poppy: In Trolls and Trolls: The Beat Goes On!, she had a pink pod with the top part colored green. It is changed to gold and pink in Trolls World Tour. In most episodes of Trolls: The Beat Goes On!, her bed is seen. It has a mint green blanket with a big pink flower. In some episodes of Trolls: TrollsTopia, it has a yellow blanket with purple muffins.
• Satin & Chenille: Their pod contains their fashion stuff. It is purple and blue in Trolls: The Beat Goes On!, and beige and green in Trolls: TrollsTopia.
• Smidge: Her pod is blue and yellow, and contains weightlifting equipment. It was first seen in the Ask Poppy shorts. In later seasons of Trolls: The Beat Goes On!, it has a bow, which can be seen in "Ear Worm".
• DJ Suki: Her pod contains DJ equipment, and is seen in "Party Crash Course", "Troll Rangers" and "CJ's Wooferbug".
• Guy Diamond: The inside of his pod is a metallic silver in Trolls: The Beat Goes On!, including furniture but the outside wouldn't be seen until Trolls: TrollsTopia, where it is shown to have a disco ball-like texture. In Biggie and the Disastrous Dance, it's also a dance studio. In other books, it is completely silver from both inside and outside.
  • Tiny Diamond: In Tiny Diamond Goes Back To School, it is shown that Guy's pod has a mini-pod inside for Tiny.
• Biggie & Mr. Dinkles: It has a bed for Biggie and a cot for Mr. Dinkles. In Biggie and the Big Misunderstanding, it is piled from top to bottom in photos.
• Cooper: In Trolls: The Beat Goes On!, he had a mushroom pod, while he resided in a normal tree pod in Trolls World Tour.

Several pods also appear as toys in the Hasbro Miniature Figurines and Hasbro Small Figurines. In this case, they serve as playsets, and are often used to store accessories.

Palace Pod

In Trolls: The Junior Novelization, Poppy's party from the film Trolls took place at the village palace, which was the largest pod in the village. The palace was only ever mentioned in the book. In addition, when Chef attacked, the palace was forgotten, likely due to writer oversight.

Branch's Survival Bunker

Branch lives outside of the village in a survival bunker, but within reach of the village itself. It is camouflaged to keep him safe. The bunker was built 10 years prior to Trolls, and originally had 10 or 11 years worth of supplies; it consists of lots of storage room for food and other essentials.

It is designed so the entrance leads to an initial hole that doesn't look too deep. Upon pulling a lever, it extends into a much deeper hole with a shaft that goes through a number of levels, each with various supplies. Branch generally resides in the lowest part of the bunker.

It tends to have design differences between the movies and 2D animation. In Trolls and Trolls World Tour, the shaft ends in a room with a single bed for Branch. In Trolls: The Beat Goes On!, there's a different room serving as Branch's bedroom, which has a double bed. It also leads to other areas such as a water storage well. Additionally, the bunker in Trolls: The Beat Goes On! has many traps and tricks to give Branch further safety and security, though none of these stop his friends or Cloud Guy from breaking in.

DreamWorks once jokingly put on their Twitter account a rental ad for the bunker, stating that it contains one bedroom, one guest, one bath and one bed.

In Trolls Band Together, it was revealed that originally Branch designed in while he was part of BroZone as a "Fun Bunker" where his brothers Spruce, John Dory, Floyd, Clay, alongside himself could all live. The elevator shaft was meant to be a water slide. Branch intended to built it so when his brothers all return they could be a family inside it again.

Sky Toronto's Party Shop/Funtime Factory

Sky Toronto's party shop is built like a factory made from a series of giant mushroom pods. It supplies the entire village with their party supplies including fireworks, decorations, wrapping papers, card invitations, gifts, party games, food and drinks.

The factory isn't operational at night, but constantly works to keep up with demand during the day. The Trolls employed in there doing their jobs, and work hard coming up with ideas. The only Troll who's normally present at night is Sky himself.

In later seasons of Trolls: The Beat Goes On!, starting from the episode "Giggleyum", it is referred to as the "Fun Factory" or "Funtime Factory" instead. This continued into Trolls: TrollsTopia.

In the Trolls: TrollsTopia episode "R&B in R&D", it's revealed employees, or "funployees" as Sky calls them, start a 1-week trial period when Sky hires them. He demands a lot from his employees, but also wants a bit of honesty and creativity. He accepts that all ideas have flaws and likes to work with creators to figure out the flaws and how to get rid of them. Since the founding of TrollsTopia, the Funtime Factory has been receiving an increased demand of party supplies, and the hiring of Rhythm & Blues was part of Sky expanding his workforce to satisfy the demand.

Fun Dungeon

The Fun Dungeon in Trolls: The Beat Goes On!

The Fun Dungeon in Trolls: TrollsTopia

The Fun Dungeon was first seen in the Trolls: The Beat Goes On! episode "Funishment". Groth ordered Poppy to punish Cooper after he stole Groth's pie. After several options didn't appeal to her on how to punish him suitable and to Groth's liking, she created the Fun Dungeon. The issue was that the dungeon didn't actually punish Cooper, and when the other Trolls saw how much "fun" he was having inside, they all started to misbehave so Poppy would also punish them by letting them in the dungeon. The dungeon has carnival games, a huge slide, a pool of balls, and trampolines.

Though the issue was resolved in the episode, the Fun Dungeon remained, but was still used in following episodes. In "The Frenemy", Archer Pastry was held prisoner here when the threat of the Party Crashers was looming. In "Freeze Tag", Poppy attempted to win by locking herself and any other unfrozen Trolls inside to keep whom she thought was "it" from tagging them. In "Whimsy Wasps", the Trolls held a massive party inside the dungeon to contain all the village in hope that it would take off the Trolls' whimsy in order to get rid of the Whimsy Wasps.

In the Trolls: TrollsTopia episode "Surprise-O-Tron", the Fun Dungeon was shown to have been updated by the events of the series, with the Metroll Train now going straight through it. The Dungeon also has an arcade area with prizes.

Troll Village Courtroom

The Troll Village Court.

The Troll Village Courtroom is the only known court present in Pop Village, briefly seen in the Trolls: The Beat Goes On! episode "Tall Tail". In spite of its similar nature to real-life government courts, it has the purpose of solving personal conflicts/disputes between pairs of Trolls rather than interpreting any form of rules against criminals, and isn't active most of the time. Being the one responsible for discipline as the Pop Trolls' queen, Poppy is the court's judge whenever it's active.

Troll Village Marketplace

Appearing in several episodes of Trolls: The Beat Goes On! and Trolls: TrollsTopia, the Troll Village Marketplace is the village's market, in which vendors sell items at stalls. The present vendors change depending on the episode, but one of the most commonly seen is an ice cream vendor. The vendors often have hairstyles that resemble what they sell, such as the ice cream-like hair of the ice cream vendor. Striped Smiley has his own candy bar set up as the Marketplace's candy bar owner.

The market also appears in Trolls Magazine stories, although with different stalls.

They were disbanded at the end of the episode following the fall of Giggleyum products' production, to which Sky Toronto states that they won't be able to return to until "next season". The status of Giggleyum and the stores themselves afterwards hasn't been explored upon due to them having never been seen or mentioned again.

Fabloid HQ

Seen in the Trolls: TrollsTopia episode "Stop the Presses", the Fabloid HQ is the headquarters for TrollsTopia's local printing press. Laguna Tidepool was considered as the best reporter in the press ever since she joined it.

Hairnasium

Seen in the Trolls: TrollsTopia episodes "Follicle Fitness" and "The Trolls-a-Thon", the Hairnasium is a fitness center specifically made for Trolls to do fitness activities with their hair to keep it healthy. Its name is a pun on "hair" and "gymnasium". In the episode, Dr. Moonbloom prescribed Holly Darlin' to take a fitness test here. In the aforementioned Trolls-a-Thon episode, Synth and Smidge is also seen training Minuet Sonata for the Trolls-a-Thon.

Pillow Palace

The Pillow Palace is the pillow fort Poppy built during the fight between her and Branch in the Trolls: The Beat Goes On! episode "Pillow War". While its fate was left hanging after the episode, the Trolls: TrollsTopia episode "Extreme Sleepover Club: Spooky Edition!" later confirmed that the Pillow Fort was never torn down, and is now a permanent feature of Pop Village (and in turn to TrollsTopia), with the purpose of storing the excess pillows in TrollsTopia.

Spooky Mansion

The Spooky Mansion

The Spooky Mansion is an abandoned mansion pod that serves as the main setting of the Trolls: TrollsTopia episode "Extreme Sleepover Club: Spooky Edition!", which is where the Extreme Sleepover Club goes to for a sleepover. Before its abandonment, it was inhabited by a Troll named Raisin Ruby, who's been rumored to still roam around it since her death. The rumor exploited in the episode by Rhythm & Blues, who use their Disco Ball-o-gram device to create a hologram ghost of Raisin Ruby to try and scare the club's members.

Miniature Golf Course

The Miniature Golf Course was a vegetal area set up by a Peril Patch to catch Trolls to eat in the Trolls: The Beat Goes On! episode "Peril Patch". With its appearance of a mini-golf course, the Peril Patch used it as a means of luring Trolls to it; once there were enough for it to eat, the "gates" that led to it would close to trap the Trolls. It was destroyed alongside the Peril Patch when Branch hit one the hole that contained the "course"'s control system (specifically the 19th, according to Peppy).

The Black Rock

The Black Rock

Seen in the Trolls: The Beat Goes On! episode "Freeze Tag" and the Trolls: TrollsTopia "Trollection", the Black Rock is an underground building that serves as settlement for a group of Trolls that anonymously discuss about games and give related tips to non-affiliated ones; they're known as the "Game Changer's Club" in the former episode, and "Secret Games Club" in the latter. They also talk about non-game events, as seen in "Trollection" when Mr. Dinkles meets Holly Darlin' and Poppy to give them information on how Holly can win against Biggie in the Secretary of Skate election.

Tunnel of Friendship

The Tunnel of Friendship is seen in the Trolls: The Beat Goes On! episode "Haircuffed", and in its self-titled Trolls: TrollsTopia episode and "Fastest Draw in the West". It's a tunnel attraction dedicated to the commemoration of pairs of Trolls with a strong friendship.

Hug Fest Theme Park

The Hug Fest Theme Park is an amusement park mainly seen in the Trolls: The Beat Goes On! episode "Hug Fest" and the Trolls: TrollsTopia episode "Val Serves Murray Duty", with individual rides in it also being relevant in some others. Aside from the rides, the park features a variety of booths and games. It's the location where the annual Hug Fest event mainly takes place in, during which the park gets the most visitors. In addition to its normal rides and stalls, additional side shows and other attractions are set up during this event, one of which, for example, was a H.U.G.G. reunion concert.

By the time of Trolls: TrollsTopia, as seen in "Val Serves Murray Duty", Hug Fest has expanded to include days dedicated for each Troll Tribe (including Classical Day, Country Western Day, Techno Day and Hard Rock Day), during which Trolls from the correspondent Tribe are expected to comprise the most visitors to the park that day. The park has a mascot known as "Murray the Puffalo", whom at least one Troll normally takes the role of during Hug Fest as a requirement before they're able to enter the park themselves (a procedure referred to as "Murray duty" in the episode). It's unknown if Murray and the requirement were always present or were created by the events of the series.

Throughout Trolls: TrollsTopia, a number of the park's attractions were run by Striped Smiley.

The Big Squeeze

The Big Squeeze is the park's most recurring ride, seen in the Trolls: The Beat Goes On! episode "Hug Fest" and the Trolls: TrollsTopia episodes "Rhythm & the Blues", "My Dinner with Dante" (in this case in a flashback) and "Hair-aldine: The Musical". It's a drop tower-like attraction that takes Trolls to its top before bungee-cording them to the ground. It has a capacity of two Trolls per ride.

Bumper Car Ride

One of the many attractions seen in "Hug Fest", the bumper car ride features bumper cars with automatic arms that hug any cars they bump against.

The Hug-O-Meter

Another attraction from "Hug Fest", the Hug-O-Meter is machine that rates the way Trolls hug. A Troll wraps their arms around the machine, which in turn hugs them with its own mechanical arms, before it gives out a rating via voiced message.

Fortune-Telling Tent

Another attraction from "Hug Fest", the fortune-telling tent is run by Cybil, who predicts future events to visiting Trolls.

Tug Duluth's Prize Booth

Another attraction from "Hug Fest", the prize booth run by Tug Duluth features various games in which Trolls can earn prizes should they win. Some various games that are in the booth are Hug-A-Troll, Hug Hunt and Hug Shot.

The prize booth later appeared in the Trolls: TrollsTopia episode "Val Serves Murray Duty", though this time it's run by Striped Smiley instead of Tug, who never appeared in the series.

The Cuddlehopper

The Troll Village Library is a rarely-visited location in the village; thus far, the only ones known to do so regularly are Queen Poppy and Branch. The library contains scrapbooks of various topics. Its largest section is on hugging, which consists of 3 isles labelled "Hugs", "Hugs Continued" and "Hugs Continued Continued". Its smallest section is "Practical Matters", which is Branch's favorite. It's obvious that he's the only one who likes that section, as it's the only one cobwebbed over.

To enter the library, Trolls are dropped into a minecart that takes them on a short journey. Afterwards, they arrive back where they started. It's clear that there's no reason for it and the ride is basically pointless, but Poppy defends it "because it's fun".

In the Trolls: The Beat Goes On! episode "Queen of the Castle", King Peppy donated a series of old scrapbooks to the library.

In the Trolls: TrollsTopia episode "Laguna Tidepool & the Lost Game Room", Laguna Tidepool finds the existence of an ancient bookshelf in the library, which leads to her, Poppy, Holly Darlin', Rhythm, and Blues going on a quest to find the Lost Game Room. Later in "The Farmer and the Hound", the library was reformed to include books from all 6 main Troll Tribes (specifically, one section for each Tribe).

Dr. Moonbloom works at a medical center which appeared in the Trolls: The Beat Goes On! episode "Doc Doc, Who's There?" and in the Trolls: TrollsTopia episodes "Hopscotch Extreme" and "Follicle Fitness". As far as it's been shown, it is the only medical establishment in Pop Village wherein Trolls come to get diagnosis and treatments for their health issues. Before the events of Trolls: TrollsTopia, only Pop Trolls attended the center; following the establishment of TrollsTopia, Trolls from the other Tribes also come here.

In "Doc Doc, Who's There?", Poppy briefly took over Moonbloom's place in the center when the latter decided to give up on her doctor job in order to continue with her newfound talent at comedy, until she came back to treat Gia Grooves from an urgent condition.

The Troll Village Lake is a lake within Pop Village that appeared in various Trolls: The Beat Goes On! and Trolls: TrollsTopia episodes starting from "Laugh Out Cloud". Its coast has a varied surface, featuring sections of grassy cliffs, beach-like sand and stones among others. Trolls mainly use it for swimming and beach activities; they've done it regardless of the area within the lake, be it the coasts, the water surface and the lily pads it has. One Random Troll was also seen fishing in the lake.

Troll Village Stadium

Inside the stadium

The Troll Village Stadium is the central setting point for most episodes of Trolls: The Beat Goes On! and Trolls: TrollsTopia (where it's referred to as "TrollsTopia Stadium" instead) that involve games, competitions, tournaments, concerts and other events. In the Trolls: The Beat Goes On! episode "Trolly Tales 3", the stadium was named as "Madison Hair Garden".

The stadium has a circular grassy exterior with stone-like inner walls and small entrance tunnels for participants and spectators alike to enter and exit from, and its top is lined with large flowers that serve as lamps for lightning. On the inner walls are seats for the audiences to sit on. There is also a host box where hosts and commentators talk and converse about the event, although the hosts are seen more often on the stage, and rarely in the hot air balloon (which is only seen during Junior Flyer Grand Prix). In addition, stages inside the stadium are also used for concerts with several equipment set-up (such as musical instruments, microphones and speakers placed throughout the stage). In spite of its usually elaborate events with a lot of polish and elements, the stadium itself has minimal decoration.
