Minor Characters

This page is a list of miscellaneous characters seen or mentioned in the DreamWorks Trolls franchise. It includes characters who do not have enough known information for them to have a separate page.

Note: Since according to our canon policy, both "Trolls: The Beat Goes On!" and "Trolls: TrollsTopia" characters who are listed here are only considered to be secondary or non-canon, thus they are mostly unrelated to characters from 3D animated media.

Trolls

Pop Trolls

Celine Starburst

Celine Starburst is a minor character in Trolls: The Beat Goes On!, who appeared in "Mr. Glittercakes". She is voiced by Zehra Fazal.

She is a Troll who had made up an excuse about a fabricated alter-ego "Sheila Fizzylips" and even a made-up friend "Cool Ted", and soon needs help to prove to her friends that she is not bluffing.

Appearance

Celine is a female Pop Troll with purple nose and yellow skin. She also has blue hair tied into a mini ponytail by a red hairband, dark teal eyes, red lips. She wears a red and white striped dress donned with a purple collar and indigo button.

Timpani

Timpani is a minor character in Trolls: The Beat Goes On!, who appeared in "Mr. Glittercakes". She is voiced by Zehra Fazal.

According to herself, she said both Branch and Thistle had asked her hand in marriage.

Appearance

Timpani is a female Pop Troll with dark pink hair, fuchsia eyes, and purple nose. She wears a yellow dress with a white frilled collar.

Vega Swift

Vega Swift is a minor character in Trolls: The Beat Goes On!, who appeared in her eponymous episode. She is voiced by Kari Wahlgren.

She is Nova Swift's baby cousin. Like her older cousin, she is likely named after famous real-life musician Taylor Swift.

Satin & Chenille were tasked by Nova to babysit Vega, who keeps making messes for them. Her bonnet is for controlling her prehensile hair, as she is still too young to control it.

Appearance

Vega Swift is a female baby Pop Troll with blue eyes, indigo nose, purple skin and freckles, fuchsia lips, and a small tuft of yellow hair. She wears a pink bonnet adorned with a fuchsia ribbon, a dark pink onesie, and a pink diaper.

Hank Montana

Hank Montana is a minor character in Trolls: The Beat Goes On!, who appeared in "DJ's Got Talent". He is voiced by Fred Tatasciore.

He is likely named after Hannah Montana from the eponymous Disney series.

When DJ Suki tries to DJ for her niece CJ Suki, Hank arrives to steal her thunder and refuses to back down. However, CJ still states that she prefers DJ Suki's talent over Hank's. According to Hank himself, he is an uncle with a number of nieces and nephews.

Appearance

Hank Montana is a male Pop Troll with yellow skin, orange hair and beard, brown eyes, and purple nose. He wears a red visor and vest, a teal shirt, a brown belt, and blue trousers.

Violet

Violet is a minor character in Trolls: The Beat Goes On!, who appeared in "Switcher-Ruby". She is voiced by Fryda Wolff.

She is a female Pop Troll whose name is forgotten by Branch (who was in Queen Poppy's body), due to him not being at her birthday party the day prior to the episode. The real Poppy later calls her name correctly, after Poppy and Branch are returned to their respective bodies.

Appearance

Violet is a Pop Troll with orchid skin, blue hair, dark pink eyes, purple nose, and light pink freckles. She wears an ultramarine blue dress, and has a red and orange flower on her head's left side.

Toby Poppits

Toby Poppits is a minor character in Trolls: The Beat Goes On!, who appeared in "Party Crash Course". He is voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson.

He is likely named after Mary Poppins from the titular movie.

Toby is a guest at DJ Suki's foam party, who ended up trapped in a Foam Bug's bubble but enjoyed it too much to refuse coming down, until DJ pulls off another party that is fun enough to convince him to leave the bubble.

Appearance

Toby Poppits is a male Pop Troll with purple skin, eyes, and freckles, teal mohawk and goatee, as well as dark turqiose eyebrows and nose. He wears a dark purple beanie, orange earrings, light orange T-shirt, teal and orange beaded necklace and bracelets, and a pair of light grey trousers with blue accents. He also carries around lime green glow sticks in his hands.

Smarge

Smarge is a minor character in Trolls: The Beat Goes On!, who appeared in "The Helper". She is voiced by Kari Wahlgren.

She looks like a taller version of Smidge.

Appearance

Smarge is a rather tall female Pop Troll with dark red hair, magenta skin, turqoise eyes, and purple nose. She wears a two layered yellow dress, and both of her wrists have teal arm-bands.

Laroux Laroux

Laroux Laroux is a minor character in Trolls: The Beat Goes On!, who appeared in "The Interns". She is voiced by Fryda Wolff.

She is Nova Swift's intern-turned-assistant. Her name literally means "the red" twice.

Appearance

Laroux Laroux is a female Pop Troll with fluffy purple hair, orange eyes, blue nose, hot pink lips, and cyan skin. She wears a pair of triangular magenta earrings, a violet dress with a light green waistband, and red framed glasses.

Dare-lene J. McGuffin

Dare-lene J. McGuffin is a minor character in Trolls: The Beat Goes On!, who appeared in "Truth or Dare". She is voiced by Kari Wahlgren.

She is described to be the most daring Troll who initially was thought to be deceased, until Biggie finds out she is still alive. She gets her statue back near the end of the episode.

Dare-lene J. McGuffin's name is a wordplay. Her first name is based on the adjective "daring", which is for describing a brave person. While her surname is based on the term "MacGuffin", which is usually an item at the end of a quest that a character in a story is searching for. The statue of herself that Biggie is told to steal is in itself a MacGuffin.

Dare-lene J. McGuffin is a female Pop Troll with royal blue eyes, purple nose, red lips, yellow skin, and wavy dark navy blue hair. She wears a violet overalls with a black belt and pink accents.

Alice, Brain, Elliot and Nate are four minor Pop Trolls, who only appeared in photos in Trolls: The Beat Goes On!. They are non-speaking characters.

Appearances

Alice is the cyan haired and purple skinned Pop Troll, Brian the green haired and yellow skined one, Elliot is magenta haired and orange skinned, and Nate is orange haired and green skinned.

Odnecserc Etand

Odnecserc Etand is a minor character in Trolls: TrollsTopia, who appeared in "The Buddy System". He is a non-speaking character.

His name is the backwards spelling of Dante Crescendo, a Classical Troll character from the same series.

Appearance

Odnecserc Etand is a plump blue Pop Troll with dull orange hair and mustache, medium purple skin, indigo nose, and violet eyes. He wears a pale pink shirt, a pair of dark red suspender pants, and a dark turqoise necktie. He also carries around a tuba.

Rhonda Sparkleman

Rhonda Sparkleman is a minor character in Trolls: TrollsTopia, who appeared in "R&B in R&D". She is voiced by Megan Hilty.

She is an accountant who works for Sky Toronto. By the end of the episode, she is revealed to actually be a baby.

Appearance

Rhonda is a female Pop Troll with green hair, yellow skin, orange nose, and blue eyes. She wears red glasses, and a cerulean sweater. It should be noted that this is her disguise's appearance.

Raisin Ruby

Raisin Ruby is a minor character in Trolls: TrollsTopia, who appeareed in "Extreme Sleepover Club: Spooky Edition!". She is a non-speaking character.

She is actually a hologram created by Rhythm and Blues' Disco-ball-o-gram.

Appearance

Raisin Ruby is an elderly-looking female Pop Troll with luscious purple hair and a purple nose, green eyes, red lips, and orange skin. She wears a purple apron, and a blue dress with white frilly sleeves.

H.T. Hairnum

H.T. Hairnum is a minor character in Trolls: TrollsTopia, who appeared in "Follicle Fitness". He is voiced by Matt Lowe.

He is a hair product salesperson invited by Gust Tumbleweed. He is presumably named after late American showman, bussinessman, and politician P. T. Barnum.

Appearance

H.T. Hairnum is a male Pop Troll with pompous-looking dark yellow hair and goatee, orange skin, blue nose, and green eyes. He wears a purple dress-suit, a pale green shirt, and a dull yellowish bolo tie.

Bini Troll

Bini Troll is a minor character who appeared in the opening of Trolls. She is voiced by Nina Bakshi.

She is one of the younger Trolls listening to Poppy's retelling of the Pop Trolls' escape during the Last Trollstice.

Appearance

Bini is a child-aged female Pop Troll with bright pink hair and nose, and cyan skin and eyes. She wears a pink and orange dress, and a green Hug-Time bracelet.

Nora Troll

Nora Troll is a minor character who appeared in the opening of Trolls. She is voiced by Nina Bakshi.

She is one of the younger Trolls listening to Poppy's retelling of the Pop Trolls' escape during the Last Trollstice.

Appearance

Nora is a child-aged female Pop Troll with red skin and eyes, yellow nose, and green hair. She wears a green and yellow dress, and a red Hug-Time bracelet.

McKenzie Troll

McKenzie Troll is a minor character who appeared in the opening of Trolls. She is voiced by Zoë Crawford.

She is one of the younger Trolls listening to Poppy's retelling of the Pop Trolls' escape during the Last Trollstice.

Appearance

McKenzie is a child-aged female Pop Troll with orange hair and nose, brown eyes, and yellow skin. She wears an orange dress.

Sean Troll

Sean Troll is a minor character who appeared in the opening of Trolls. He is voiced by Riley Crawford.

He is one of the younger Trolls listening to Poppy's retelling of the Pop Trolls' escape during the Last Trollstice.

Appearance

Sean is a child-aged male Pop Troll with dark purple hair, fuchsia nose and eyes, and magenta skin. He wears a green accented dark purple one-sided suspender pants, and a dark pink Hug-Time bracelet.

Olley Troll

Olley Troll is a minor character who appeared in the opening of Trolls. He is voiced by Ollie Mitchell.

He is one of the younger Trolls listening to Poppy's retelling of the Pop Trolls' escape during the Last Trollstice.

Appearance

Olley is a child-aged male Pop Troll with marine colored hair, dull yellow eyes, dull green nose, and bright yellow skin. He wears a green accented dark blue one-sided suspender pants, and a bright green Hug-Time bracelet.

BroZone Stage Head

The BroZone Stage Head is a minor character who appeared during the opening flashback in Trolls Band Together. She is voiced by Secunda C. Wood.

She announced that there were some technical difficulties after BroZone's last show came to a screeching halt. It is unknown if she has survived the events of the Last Trollstice.

Appearance

The stage head is a female Pop Troll who has orange skin and hair, brown eyes, and pink nose. She wears a blue visor with the glitter words "BroZone" attached with a mic, and a blue dress.

BroZone Fans are minor characters who are Pop Trolls that appeared in the opening flashback of Trolls Band Together. One of the fangirls is voiced by Nina Bakshi. It is unknown if most of them had survived the Last Trollstice.

Appearances

One of the fans is a female Pop Troll with yellow skin, dark red hair, dull red nose, and dark orange eyes. She wears a purple dress, and a light orange Hug-Time bracelet. She is wheelchair bound.

Doreen

Doreen is a minor character who appeared in Trolls Band Together. She is a non-speaking character.

She is only shown in a clipping pinned on Branch's clueboard, showing that she was a winner who won a date with Spruce to go to an ice cream shop ran by another Troll named Senior Frosty. It is implied by the photo featuring her and Spruce that Spruce (Bruce) didn't enjoy the date with her, and they went on their separate ways afterwards. It is unknown if she had survived the events of the Last Trollstice.

Appearance

Doreen is a female Pop Troll with green hair tied into twin tails, and wears black glasses, and a dark pink dress. She has yellow skin, (presumably) blue nose, and (presumably) black eyes.

Rock Trolls

Billy Reverb

Billy Reverb is a minor character in Trolls: TrollsTopia, who appeared in "Bad Hair Day". He is voiced by Jake Green.

He is the lead vocalist and guitarist of the eponymous band.

Appearance

Billy Reverb is a male Rock Troll with dark navy blue hair and nose, orange skin, dark red eyes, and greyish blue eyeshadows. He wears a silver earring on his left ear, black spiky armbands, a black vest, and black trousers. He also carries a purple rock guitar with a grey strap.

Romper

Romper is a minor character in Trolls: TrollsTopia, who appeared in "Blaze and the Blazing Blazes". He is voiced by Raul Ceballos.

He is one of Blaze Powerchord's former bandmates, who became most celebrated within 12 hours of Blaze's departure. However, along with Rose, Romper accepts Blaze's honesty and wishes him and his new band well before his departure.

Appearance

Romper is a male Rock Troll with grey skin, a dark blue nose, and black hair with purple tints that covers one of his blue eyes. His left ear has two piercings and one silver earring. He wears a white vest, a black band on his left arm, two dark grey wristbands on both wrists, a black buckle belt, and brown jeans.

Rose

Rose is a minor character in Trolls: TrollsTopia, who appeared in "Blaze and the Blazing Blazes". She is voiced by Kat Palardy.

She is one of Blaze Powerchord's former bandmates, who became most celebrated within 12 hours of Blaze's departure. However, along with Romper, Rose accepts Blaze's honesty and wishes him and his new band well before her departure.

Rose is a female Rock Troll with dark red hair bundled in a rose shape with a black hairband, maroon eyes, blue lips, a dull purple nose, and reddish grey skin. She wears a grey choker, a black one-shoulder dress, two white armbands, and dark grey leggings.

Country Trolls

Annie Applecore

Annie Applecore is a minor character in Trolls: TrollsTopia, who appeared in "The Ballad of Holly Darlin'". She is a non-speaking character.

She is part of the present posse formed by Holly Darlin' in order to outdo Poppy in gifting. Her name is presumably based on Johnny Appleseed, an American pioneer nurseryman.

Appearance

Annie Applecore is a female Country Troll with yellow skin, indigo eyes, dark pink hair tied into two buns and tail, and brown nose. She wears pale blue trousers, a white cowboy hat with a blue stripe, a pair of brown gloves, a brown belt with a purple oval buckle, and a cyan scarf.

Haystack Wiggins

Haystack Wiggins is a minor character in Trolls: TrollsTopia, who appeared in "The Ballad of Holly Darlin'". He is voiced by Matt Lowe.

He is part of the present posse formed by Holly Darlin' in order to outdo Poppy in gifting.

Appearance

Haystack Wiggins is a male Country Troll with purple hair and tail, dark red skin, red nose, and purple eyes. He wears a teal shirt attached with a bolo tie, brown trousers donned with a buckle belt, and two side carrier bags.

Slim Stuck 'Em

Slim Stuck 'Em is a minor character in Trolls: TrollsTopia, who appeared in "The Ballad of Holly Darlin'". He is voiced by Eric Lopez.

He is part of the present posse formed by Holly Darlin' in order to outdo Poppy in gifting.

Slim Stuck 'Em is a male Country Troll with orange hair and tail, purple skin and nose, and dark maroon eyes. He wears a black formal coat and fedora, brown trousers, and a yellow shirt.

Hair-aldine Groundwater

Hair-aldine Groundwater is a minor character in Trolls: TrollsTopia who is only mentioned and shown in a picture in "Hair-aldine: The Musical". She is a non-speaking character.

Appearance

Hair-aldine Groundwater is a female Country Troll with dark red hair and tail, dark blue eyes, a brownish red nose, and orange skin. She has a set of protruding upper front teeth. She wears a white undershirt with a blue neck button, and a puffy dark yellow dress with a maroon collar and a dark reddish brown waistband.

Eighth Goats

Eighth Goats is a minor character in Trolls World Tour. He is voiced by David P. Smith.

Appearance

Eighth Goats is a male Country Troll who has shedded a Tear during Delta Dawn's performance of "Born To Die".

Country Music Farmer

Country Music Farmer is a minor character in Trolls World Tour. He is Country Music Baby's father. He is voiced by Walt Dohrn.

Appearance

He is a male adult Country Troll with orange hair and tail, brown eyes, and dull green skin. He wears a beige hat, a red and white plaided T-shirt, and grey pants.

Country Music Baby

Country Music Baby is a minor character in Trolls World Tour. He is Country Music Farmer's newborn son. He is voiced by Walt Dohrn.

Appearance

He is a male baby Country Troll with dark green hair and tail, dull green eyes, orange nose, and yellow skin. He wears a beige shirt, and brown pants.

Funk Trolls

Big J

Big J is a minor character in Trolls: TrollsTopia, who appeared in "Rhythm & the Blues". Big J's voice actor is uncredited.

He is one of Rhythm and Blues' friends back in Vibe City.

Appearance

Big J is a male Funk Troll in purple, with dark violet hair and goatee, purple eyes, a pink nose, and yellow inner ears. He wears a gold armband on his left arm, and a golden necklace with the capital letter J.

Little J

Little J is a minor character in Trolls: TrollsTopia, who appeared in "Rhythm & the Blues". Little J's voice actress is uncredited.

She is one of Rhythm and Blues' friends back in Vibe City.

Appearance

Little J is a female Funk Troll with green eyes, torso and sideburns, a blue nose, pale orange skin, and dark pink inner ears. She wears dark pink puka necklaces, and a yellow cap with logos of Saturn and a star.

Middle J

Middle J is a minor character in Trolls: TrollsTopia, who appeared in "Rhythm & the Blues". Middle J is a non-speaking character.

He is one of Rhythm and Blues' friends back in Vibe City.

Appearance

Middle J is a male Funk Troll with yellow and orange fur, shaggy magenta hair, pale pink legs, bright pink nose and eyes. He has buck teeth. He wears a large red cap, and two silver earrings for both ears.

Bergens

Miss Maxine

Miss Maxine is a minor character, who appeared in Trolls Band Together. She is voiced by RuPaul Charles.

She serves as King Gristle Jr. and Bridget's wedding officiate. She has implied that she has gone a semester to study overseas when she was younger, and also has a long list of ex-boyfriends.

Appearance

Miss Maxine is a female Bergen with grey skin, a big nose, a jagged uppercut row of teeth, and some warts. Her hair is puffy and white, while she has brown eyes with yellow scelerae. She wears a pair of orange flower earrings, a dark yellow scarf and a bright yellow floral that are both floral patterned, and a white undershirt.

Aunt Smead

Aunt Smead is a minor character in Trolls Band Together. She is King Gristle Jr.'s aunt, Bridget's aunt-in-law, and King Gristle Sr.'s sister. She is voiced by Melissa Mabie.

Appearance

Smead is a female Bergen with dark pink lips, jagged rows of both upper and lower teeth, dull olive skin with warts, and bright green eyes. She wears a light beige sunhat, a pair of yellow glasses, and a dark yellow dress.

Buzby

Buzby is a minor character in Trolls: The Beat Goes On!, who appeared in "A New Bergen-ing". He is voiced by David Koechner.

Appearance

Buzby is a portly dull green male Bergen with brown eyes and green scelerae, a dark green nose, and black hair and nails. He wears a dull brown shirt, and greyish blue trousers.

Janet

Not to be confused with Cloud Guy's wife Janet is a minor character in Trolls: The Beat Goes On!, who appeared in "The Poppy Horror Picture Show". Her voice actress is uncredited.

She is a character that is involved in Bridget's scary story about the Greygon. She appears to be Derrick's girlfriend.

Appearance

Janet is a pink-skinned female Bergen with a dull pink nose, deep pink hair, and dark turqoise eyes. She wears a dulled light blue dress, and a pair of pale blue heels.

Derrick

Derrick is a minor character in Trolls: The Beat Goes On!, who appeared in "The Poppy Horror Picture Show". His voice actor is uncredited.

He is a character that is involved in Bridget's scary story about the Greygon. He appears to be Janet's boyfriend.

Appearance

Derrick is a slender male Bergen with brownish skin, crroked teeth, a dull green nose, dark brown hair, and medium brown eyes. He has a mole on the bottom left side of his chin. He wears a red T-shirt, grey trousers, and a set of red and white sneakers.

Maitre'D

Maitre'D is a minor character in Trolls: The Beat Goes On!, who appeared in "Sorry Not Sorry". He is voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson.

He is the waiter that Gristle Jr. trips over.

Appearance

Maitre'D is a male Bergen with dark green hair and goatee, and extremely dulled green skin. He wears a red T-shirt.

Mount Rageons

Kid Ritz

Kid Ritz is a minor character in Trolls Band Together. He is voiced by Dillon Francis.

He is a famous Mount Rageon DJ responsible for interviewing celebrities.

Appearance

Kit Ritz is a male Mount Rageon with light lavender skin, purple eyes, and yellow hair with teal tints. His outfit is a dark indigo beanie hat, a white jumpsuit with colorful patterns in different coloration, teal shoes with yellow soles.

Rollie Roy, Phat Sammy, Jay Bee and Sage Boyz

Rollie Roy, Phat Sammy, Jay Bee and Sage Boyz are unseen minor characters in Trolls Band Together. They are non-speaking characters.

They are named on the Bop on Top list during Kid Ritz's special programme.

Rollie Roy is the one who sang the No. 2 song "Earn That Gold", Phat Sammy who sang the No. 3 song "Makin' Bank", Jay Bee who sang the No. 4 song "I Got A New Car", and Sage Boyz is a boy band who sang the No. 5 song "Bringin' in Dough".

Phat Sammy is likely named after Phat Sammy's, a beach-themed restaurant in Huntsville, Alabama.

Janitor Mount Rageon

Janitor Mount Rageon (real name unknown) is a minor character in Trolls Band Together. They are a non-speaking character.

They are a janitor that cleans Velvet and Veneer's apartment complex. Due to being too immersed in whatever they are hearing on their headphones, they fail to notice Floyd and Veneer passing by them.

Appearance

The janitor is a Mount Rageon with mopey green hair, and light pinkish/purplish skin. They wear a pair of green suspender pants embedded with a M-lettered logo, a dark purple long-sleeved shirt, and a pair of ivory shoes with yellow soles. They also have a pair of black and orange headphones.

Lone Pooper

Lone Pooper (real name unknown) is a minor character in Trolls Band Together. They are voiced by Tim Heitz.

They are a Mount Rageon who gets trapped inside a toilet stall, after Poppy accidentally causes a public toilet to go short-circuit during the rescue mission of saving Floyd.

Appearance

Their only known physical attributes are they wear green baggy pants and black shoes.

Mount Rageous Stage Manager

The Mount Rageous Stage Manager is an unseen minor character in Trolls Band Together. They are voiced by James Ryan.

They call out to Velvet and Veneer for another show both twins have to attend.

Mount Rageon Fans

The female Mount Rageon (the one with pink skin and hair in the middle) voiced by Secunda C. Wood

The male Mount Rageon (the one with dark orange hair and yellow jumpsuit in the bumper car) voiced by Roger Craig Smith

Fans who get signed by Veneer

These Mount Rageon Fans are minor characters who appeared in Trolls Band Together. While most of them are non-speaking characters, a female one is voiced by Secunda C. Wood, and another male one is voiced by Roger Craig Smith. They are the (former) fans of Velvet and Veneer.

Appearances

While the fans come in different colors, one of them is a female one with pink skin and hair, and another female member is of purple hair, skin and clothing. There is also a male one who has dark orange hair and yellow jumpsuit.

Velvet and Veneer's Parents

Velvet and Veneer's parents are unseen minor characters in Trolls Band Together. According to Veneer, both parents are middle-classed dentists who reside in Mount Rageous' suburbs. They are by far the only adult Mount Rageons who have appeared in the Dreamworks Trolls franchise.

The dentist father's voice actor is uncredited. The dentist mother is a non-speaking character.

As implied by Veneer's flashback, both parents are not the most competent or attentive to both of their children's emotional needs. For example, they didn't bother to stop Velvet from having an outburst at the dinner table, which has resulted in much of Velvet's problematic personality traits and her toxic codependency with Veneer. The father's only spoken dialogue is "So, how is school today?"

Vacaytioners

Lenny

Lenny is a minor character in Trolls Band Together. He is voiced by Roger Craig Smith.

He is one of Bruce's regulars at the latter's restaurant.

Appearance

Lenny is a male Vacaytioner with yellow curled hair and mustache, and light brown skin. He also wears a blue captain's hat, and a set of orange sunglasses.

Rock Climbing Instructor

The Rock Climbing Instructor is a minor character in Trolls Band Together. He is voiced by Roger Craig Smith.

He is the first Vacaytioner that John Dory, Branch, Queen Poppy and Tiny Diamond meet upon arriving at Vacay Island. He can also be seen teaching some of Bruce & Brandy's Children rock-climbing.

Appearance

He is a curly haired Vacaytioner with an orange and yellow ombre for both his hair and mustache. His body is of light pink and red gradient. His nose is brown, while his eyes are black.

Vacaytioner With Nachos
