Mount Rageous is overall a bustling and mostly urbanized location with little to no biomes. It is filled to the brim with highly advanced technologies and neon lights in 80s and 90s aesthetics. Its highways defy gravity, and vehicles are the main sources of transportation. It is a city inhabited by, and centered around, teenagers known as "Mount Rageons". However, Mount Rageons of other age groups also live in this location, albeit implied to be residing below the mountaintop.

The city is also filled with wide TV screens for visual entertainment and live broadcast. It also has Wi-Fi for the Mount Rageons to entertain themselves online.

Due to constant lighting in the city, it is unknown if there is clear distinction between day and night for this place.

A theater that is for Mount Rageons to gather and rave, as well as having superstars to perform onstage.

Rage Dome

A stadium with ginormous flat-screen televisions that is mostly used for grand events, like the Lifer-Award Ceremony. It has a power sources for powering up electrical appliances, such as microphones.

Etymology

The name is made up of "Mount" (which is short for "mountain") and "rageous" meaning "enraged". The name is a pun on "outrageous", which means "morally wrong or unacceptable".

Trivia

• Mount Rageous was supposed to be originally named as Paradise City during the conceptual production.
• Although this location is mostly urbanized, there are other areas like the suburbs, as implied by Veneer's flashback.
  • Also revealed in an interview, the staff of the movie were going to disclose more lower class districts of Mount Rageous like ones below the cloud lines, which are considered to be the less desirable parts of the location that Velvet and Veneer used to live in.
• Mount Rageous has its own recording agency called Mount Rageous Records.
• According to The Art of DreamWorks Trolls Band Together, Mount Rageous is based on American cities, namely Las Vegas.
• Trolls, including the previously isolated Putt Putt Trolls, as well as Bergens are implied to be aware of Mount Rageous' existence.
