Mr. Dinkles is a worm first appearing as Biggie's pet in Trolls, having appeared throughout the franchise ever since. As the series progressed, he has gone from a silent and almost motion accessory to Biggie to having a distinct character of his own.

Mr. Dinkles is a small greenish-yellow worm with pink stripes across his body, purple eyes, blue lips and a dark green top hat. While he is incapable of talking for the most part, he usually makes a squeaky "mew" sound (In Trolls: The Beat Goes On!, this becomes a "meep" sound). As a running gag in the 3D animation, Mr. Dinkles actually has a deep bass-like vocal; this is seen in the only two songs he sung so far (Low Rider in the Trolls Holiday Shorts episode "Trolla-Palooza Tour" and Rainbow, Unicorns, Everything Nice in Trolls World Tour as well as in a scene in Trolls).

Mr. Dinkles doesn't have much differences in his design from Trolls: The Beat Goes On! in comparison to their ones in the 3D animation. The only notable changes are that Mr. Dinkles has a blue bowtie and the glitter on his eyes and cheeks are gone.

Personality

Mr. Dinkles doesn't have much of a personality, but he is shown to be quite mischievous. Biggie often vocals what the worm is supposed to be thinking, although it can appear that he is projecting his own thoughts and emotions at times onto the worm. In Trolls, Biggie starts to vocalize that Mr. Dinkles was freaking out; however, Biggie was actually the one freaking out at the time. It has been implied from time to time in the 2D animations that the worm has a completely mischievous side.

Despite being Pop Village's therapist, Dinkles is a poor judge with an extremely critical attitude towards his patients, for example dismissing King Peppy's guilt over Viva rudely, and later deliberately trying to dismiss Tiny Diamond over cash payment.

Relationships

Biggie

Mr. Dinkles is Biggie's best friend. Biggie cares about and loves Mr. Dinkles so much, he also makes sure to keep him safe. Biggie carries Mr. Dinkles around everywhere. He would do anything to save him, and loves him with all of his heart. He is almost always shown to carry him; when he doesn't, he yells and searches frantically for his pet worm.

In the Trolls: The Beat Goes On! episode "The Helper", Biggie mentions that Mr. Dinkles occassionally asks for space, which results in Biggie playing with another worm known as "Mr. Blinkles", who is Mr. Dinkles rival. Eventually, Mr. Dinkles returns to Biggie out of jealousy for Mr. Blinkles.

Debbie

In the Trolls Scrapbook Stories short "How to Train Your Debbie", Debbie and Mr. Dinkles started having play dates whenever Barb visited Poppy.

Spouse

While not said aloud, for a brief moment in the first Trolls movie among all the cards Branch has, one slightly hidden card is labeled "Dinkles Wedding", which can be assumed to say "Mr.Dinkles Wedding". It is unknown if he and his spouse are still together.

Skills & Abilities

Mr. Dinkles, despite being short, in Trolls World Tour it was shown that he could actually stretch himself out and return to normal. Due to a lack of arms, he tends to use his body and mouth for doing things.

Dress Up

As seen in the Trolls Holiday Shorts episode "Dress Up", Biggie likes to play dress up, usually on Mr. Dinkles.

Music

Mr. Dinkles can sing, but he rarely does this. When he does, he has a deep baritone or bass vocal, as heard in Rainbow, Unicorns, Everything Nice. Mr. Dinkles has sung in two songs, though neither of them were Pop songs.
