Unlike past villains Chef and Creek, Barb had quite a bit of merchandise, she was sold as the movies main villain and thus recieved much focus. Barb was quite a bit more popular then past Trolls villians and was overall recieved well.
Barb's overall popularity meant that even when the series switched focus to Trolls: TrollsTopia, some items for Trolls World Tour were later re-released for the series, though focus on her has faded since then due to companies switching focus on the series' new characters, with Val Thundershock taking the place that Barb held as the main focus of the Rock Trolls.
