"R&B Are On It!" is the second segment of the 6th episode of the fifth season of Trolls: TrollsTopia, and the 75th overall episode in the series. It premiered in December 9, 2021.
Synopsis[]
Rhythm & Blues host a "hair-podcast" that offers advice to Trolls in need. They've become quite popular and are always in agreement on the proper course of action. However, when Biggie comes to them with a tricky dilemma, the sisters blurt out conflicting advice! Wanting to help Biggie as best as they can, both begin a campaign to convince him why their advice is right!
Plot[]
Holly is playing with Poppy's face, noting that Poppy has a "resting nice face". Their hug watches go off and the two remember that it is time for R&B's podcast.
In a studio inside one of the Pop Trolls' pods, the duo is broadcasting advice all over TrollsTopia. The duo claims that years of scientific research have led to them concluding that every problem has a solution and they are here to help them find it. The first caller is Val who wants to know how she can get her pet snake Fang to make a hissing sound all the time when she picks him up instead of half the time. They tell her to spend 2 minutes a day telling the snake she loves the sound of his voice and he will start doing it. Next is "Brinch". He asks how to get the zipper unstuck on his bunny pajamas. They tell him to jiggle the zipper.
A montage of Trolls begins, starting with Keith who accidentally breaks something - he is told to apologize and replace the broken object. A techno troll is told not to pull on the gum that has their hand attached to their face. Cooper meanwhile has said "yes" to two parties and is told to just clone himself.
Biggie joins them in person. He has a situation. He has a duplicate gift from a Troll who appears to have re-gifted one of their gifts. The two have an issue; Blues recommends just letting it go, but Rhythm recommends confronting the Troll. Biggie notes they are supposed to say the same thing, and the sisters can't believe they didn't do that. They appear to be disagreeing with each other and don't know what to do as they don't like it. Rhythm tells Biggie that the only way forward is to confront the Troll and express your true feelings, but blues points out the Troll likely meant no offense and confronting them might embarrass them. Biggie agrees that giving the benefit of the doubt would be better. Rhythm argues it is better to be open and honest, while Blues states some things are better left unsaid. The two argue using portals and Biggie calls for a better method to figure out who is right.
Off-air, Biggie explains the origins of the gift. Yesterday, Mr. Dinkles tries to eat the tag and it fell off. The gift was from Dante Crescendo. Biggie knows this because he gave the exact same cupcake dome to Dante to celebrate his big concert. Rhythm runs a simulation on her advice presenting not only Dante's response but showing Poppy handing out a "Troll-bel Peace Prize" reward as she dresses up her answer to make it seem like the best. Blues responds by showing her calculated response with Dante feeling so embarrassed he can't even look Biggie in the eye and is left upset. In this simulation, Poppy in a court of law declares the two no longer friends due to their awkwardness. The result of the sister's simulations is that Biggie is confused and doesn't know whose advice to take as both seem right. Biggie walks away as he needs time to think.
R&B are both working in their lab when a wormhole opens and a basket appears for Rhythm, with Biggie leaving a note that he did as she said. Though Biggie took her advice, she feels guilty that Blues was wrong and approaches her to ask for forgiveness. She states that hopefully, Blues will see that he made the right advice by taking her advice. Blues stops her there because Biggie has already told her that she took her advice. The two state they have to see if Biggie is taking their advice.
A song montage starts with the two racing to be the first to get to Biggie. They arrive at Biggie's pod where Poppy is. Rhythm states that she was positive he was going to take her advice about the re-gift, Biggie says that is true as she was right. Biggie realized that Blues was also right. While Biggie can't ignore his feelings, he also can't approach Dante about the matter. So he expressed his feelings to Poppy instead. Biggie took both their advice and made the 3rd option. It was a good thing she did; Poppy gave the dome, she went overboard and made two friendiversary gifts, Poppy gave Biggie a copy of the Dome he gave Dante last week. As for Dante's gift, it turns out Mr. Dinkles ate it.
The two sisters realize that they were so busy each trying to find a single option that they didn't explore any others. Mr. Dinkles spits out another gift; Poppy then realizes she gave 3.
Back in the podcast, RnB start up their podcast and Dante phones in, having accidentally broken the dome Biggie gave him. Dante is panicking but the duo note with this one, they need to take their time as there may be many solutions and they need to find the one that works best for him.
At that moment, Cooper and Twooper appear. His problem is with Twentynineper as Cooper as cloned himself many, many times.

- This is the third episode to have Rhythm & Blues' name in the title, the first being "Rhythm & the Blues" and "R&B in R&D".
- A "podcast" is a talk session that became popular on the internet, wherein a person can download and listen to another person's talk show. Here in this episode, the name is a pun on the Pop Trolls name for their home which is a "pod".
- "Resting Nice Face" is a reference to the term "Resting bitch face", which is a situation wherein a person's face when all muscles are relaxed appears to have the expression of grumpy, moody, or even sinister. It makes the person seem unapproachable or unsociable, even though the person may not even be remotely like their default expression.
- "Sister from the same mister" is a reference to the term "brother from the same mother".
- Regifting can be considered bad because it is insulting to the giftee since they gave an item they didn't want. It can make them seem "ungrateful" they received a gift. However, the argument for getting rid of gifts also is that a gift that is unwanted only causes more problems along the lines, such as taking up space or is unappealing, arguing that someone else may want the gift more or even money from selling the item could go towards getting a more appropriate item.
- R&B's situation is about tackling difficult social situations where letting an issue slide or confrontation are often the only options of handling a difficult situation. Confrontation can lead to the problem being resolved, but it could also cause the person to get offended and even become rowdy when they defend themselves, especially when accused of something. On the other hand, the situation may not be worth even bothering with, as the person may get upset, this is based on what isn't a big deal to one person being big to another. Such situations can end friendships but can clear up misunderstandings.
- The hologram is based on the message given by R2-D2 in Star Wars when R2-D2 and C-3P0 were sent to find Obi Wan Kenobi.
- The "Troll-bel Peace Prize" is a portmanteau of "Troll" and "Nobel Peace Prize".
