Tears are a minor species of characters seen in Trolls World Tour and Trolls: TrollsTopia.

Tears are, as their name implies, anthropomorphic tears with arms and a face. They're seen to be cried out from Trolls.

Behavior[]
While Tears don't appear to have actual personalities, they show different behaviors, which are matched with the Tribe of the Troll who cries them. For example, the Country Tear, which was cried out by a Country Troll, shows an expression of sadness, based on the empathetic theme of the Country Trolls' music. The Hard Rock Tear, which was cried by a Rock Troll, acts in a wild manner, taken from part of the Rock Trolls' general behavior. In Trolls: TrollsTopia, Poppy sheds a single Pop tear, which seems to embody the idea of crying "tears of joy"; this matches the Pop Trolls having a more fun-loving and happy approach to life.
