The Trolls Annuals are a series of yearly annuals that have been released over time for Dreamworks Trolls. These are meant for young children. This is part of the Trolls Magazine line that Egmont also publishes and features Trolls comics.

In the past other "Troll Dolls" annual have been released, these are unrelated to the series.

Years[]

2017[]

The Annual starts off with a double page each for Poppy and Branch and then 4 pages on the other Trolls. The annual is treated as a tie-in with the Trolls film, but is done from a pre-released perspective. Contents are based on the earlier draft of the film. For example, there is a write up on the plot of Trolls but the party is still the "Poppy Coronation" version of the event and not the "Bergen escape" version.

There is an ad for the Trolls Magazine at the back.

It also has a number of games.

2018[]

The annual begins with a very short re-telling of the Trolls movie, compared to the 2017 this is actually accurate with the movie tie-in.

There is an original story called "The Lost Troll", this previously appeared in the Trolls magazine and appears in the Trolls Graphic Novels. Poppy is looking after 4 baby Trolls when Branch comes along. She tries to get Branch to smell a baby Troll but he refuses and walks off. Then Poppy realises one of the Troll Babies is missing. She leaves the 3 remaining ones with Smidge and goes off to find the missing baby. After asking Biggie, Creek, Satin and Chenille she finds Branch. Branch has spent hours trying to figure out where the noises his been hearing all day that are always behind him are coming from. It turns out the missing baby had climbed and hid in his hair and what he could hear was it moving around. After she removes the baby and goes away, Branch smells his hair and admits babies don't smell too bad.

It also has a number of games.

2019[]

The 2019 annual recaps the events of Trolls Holiday. It also has a number of games.

It has as well as an original story called "To be or not to be...Someone else" in which the Trolls swap roles with each other, example being Branch taking on DJ Suki's DJ'ing role, as well as Guy Diamond ruling the village in Poppy's stead for a day. The storyline ends in disaster but Poppy can't undo the damage because Guy is in charge and is enjoying the attention. She gets Branch to DJ which causes him to cancel the day as Branch is terrible as a DJ. Everyone is relieved the event is over. This story appeared in the Trolls Magazine and Trolls Graphic Novels.

2021[]

This annual is due to go on sale in August 2021.[1]
