Plot[]
While Queen Poppy and Branch are attending and celebrating Bridget and King Gristle Jr.'s wedding, John Dory suddenly reappears after his 20 year absence and introduces Rhonda to Poppy and Branch, while telling them that Floyd has been kidnapped by the wannabe Rageon twins Velvet and Veneer.
On their way, they pick up Bruce at Vacay Island. They later meet up with Clay at Hole N' Fun, where Poppy is reunited with Viva. However, the group has to leave Viva behind.
After Branch has a huge argument with John Dory, Bruce and Clay, Poppy catches up to him, and the two of them are accompanied by Tiny Diamond to Mount Rageous. They find out that Velvet and Veneer have already captured the three brothers, but Branch gets flicked by Velvet when he tries saving his brothers.
After confronting the Rageon twins at the red carpet, Branch, Poppy and Tiny Diamond take their chase onto the yacht, where they free John Dory, Bruce and Clay. As the twins attempt to escape, the brothers save Floyd with the perfect family harmony, saving the day as the twins fall into the water.
In the end, the group of Trolls perform at Vacay Island as a celebration.
Trivia[]
- This book can be considered as alternative canon or non-canon materials, as several plot points differ from the movie:
- Floyd was not deceased when his bottle exploded under the influence of the perfect family harmony.
- Veneer was not redeemed in this version.
- Viva attempting to trap Poppy and the four brothers is not part of the plot in this book.
- Clay, Bruce, and John Dory were freed from their bottles earlier than in the movie.
- Velvet and Veneer were not in their Rage Dome attires during the final battle of this book.
- It is likely the plot of this book is based on a beta manuscript, prior to the official plot being overhauled.
