Troll
Original Dam
The original Good Luck Trolls "Dam" Trolls logo. This is here for noted reference. This logo has never been used by DreamWorks since they took over "Good Luck Trolls" and begun their DreamWorks Trolls film line up and pre-dates their involvement with the franchise. It is currently only in use by Dam Things themselves and is a signal of a Trolls product of the toylines original origins.
Trolls Era
The Troll used in early Trolls logos is green with blue hair, and lacks a torso. His hands are moved in all versions that use him so that he appears to be holding the actual logo. He was mostly used for the Trolls film, and wasn't used post-Trolls.
"NAN" logo
There's a second Troll logo that appeared in 2020, which was used for merchandise. Its hair color often varied per product. Currently, this is the main brand logo being used by the Trolls franchise, appearing in relationship to a number of merchandise for DreamWorks Trolls, later also Good Luck Trolls and at the end of each short in the Trolls Scrapbook Stories series. The logo signals an official Troll Doll, with the color of the hair of the Troll in the logo varying per example of usage, and can be used to determine counterfeit goods either by the color or the printing quality of the logo.
In later renditions of the Trademark, this Troll logo is referred to as the name "NAN"
Early Promo
This is presumably an early work in progress version. This logo version was present on a number of Small figurines and other early merchandise. Otherwise, it saw no major use.
Trolls - orange hair
This version was used in most merchandise and media related to the 2016 release of Trolls. It wasn't used in regards to the film's post-release, and DreamWorks switched to a glittery version. From Trolls World Tour onwards, most Trolls-related merchandise carried the glittery logo over this one.
The "DreamWorks" logo is orange as well in this version.
One thing to note about this logo is that whether or not it was intended, the majority of Troll Doll logos in the past have been focused on the color orange and red, often having a fading gradient from one to the other. The font choice is also similar to the majority of the past Troll logos in some shape or way, but this is likely unintentional.
White "DreamWorks" version
Commonly used on merchandise, this has "DreamWorks" in white rather than orange to match the word "Trolls".
Trolls: The Experience
Logo for Trolls: The Experience. In this logo, "Trolls" is in orange, but "DreamWorks" is colored blue.
Trolls Live!
Logo for Trolls Live!.
Trolls: Crazy Party Forest!
Used for Trolls: Crazy Party Forest!.
Trolls: The Beat Goes On!
Appears in the opening sequence of Trolls: The Beat Goes On!. It's made by several members of The Snack Pack, as well as Cloud Guy.
Trolls - silver glittery
The logo's silver glittery version began to be used in 2016 upon the Trolls film's release, and has been used ever since. It was rarely used for merchandise prior to the Trolls World Tour film. It appears on all Trolls releases, including the soundtrack for the film. It has become the main basis for most Trolls merchandise ever since the release of Trolls World Tour, with the orange furred version of the logo being slowly phased out.
The "DreamWorks" logo is often silver as well, though it can be black or white in some cases.
Trolls World Tour
The Trolls World Tour logo had a number of variants, both early and late promotion. Early versions added a "2" to the end, with a number of styles used, while later versions changed the logo to note its subtitle of World Tour.
Trolls Pop
Used for Trolls Pop.
Trolls: TrollsTopia
Trolls: Pump up the Party!
Trolls Scrapbook Stories
Trolls Band Together
The Trolls 3 logo as seen in the Licensing Expo 2022. It is identical to past "Silver Glittery" logos, but adds a "3" to the end. This was an early promo logo.
Trolls Remix Rescue
Glittery - Variants
The following logos are variations of the silver glittery version.
Trolls Holiday
This version of the logo has only been used for the Trolls Holiday special.
Gold Glitter
This version of the logo was used in conjunction with Trolls Holiday. It appeared for lyrics videos on DreamWorks' official YouTube channel. The logo "shimmers" when it appears in the videos.
Trolls: The Beat Goes On!
This was the basis for the series Trolls: The Beat Goes On!. This version seems to be loosely based on both the orange furry and the silver glittery logos combined.
Halloween Sweepstakes
A logo that appeared as part of a special promo. It also appeared in early Trolls Holiday-related content before being switched to the blue-purple logo that the final version of the special used.
Trolls: TrollsTopia
This version of the logo is used in the opening sequence of Trolls: TrollsTopia, which uses only the word "TrollsTopia". It had the same fur and glitter logos combined, with "Trolls" had the orange colored while "Topia" had purple to yellow glitter gradient.
Pink Glitter
Trolls: Holiday in Harmony
The special's logo is silver with a light blue gradient ascending from the bottom.
The words "Holiday in Harmony" are colored in several gradient shades of light and dark blue, with "Holiday in" being lighter in color than "Harmony".
Rock Logo
Seen in Trolls World Tour, this is a red "Rock" version, which was seen in the first 2 official trailers for the movie. The entire logo is done to look "Rock-themed". Some later versions of this logo switched the red "Trolls" to the silver glittery version. The movie itself uses a "denim" fabric version for the actual movie.
Chrome
Trolls Band Together
Trolls Band Together has a new "chrome" style of logo which was seen for the first time, despite initially using a silver "Glittery" logo.
Trolls: Fun Fair Surprise
Scrapbook
Simplified
These are simplified variants of the Trolls logo.
Black
This version appeared on the Rock'N'Troll Collection books.
Promotional
Good Luck Trolls
This logo is used only with Good Luck Trolls branded merchandise currently.
The current logo seems to be loosely based upon the Dark Horse Troll Dolls series. While the word "Trolls" uses a different font, itfollows the same curved pattern as the main DreamWorks Trolls logo, though in current versions this curve is not so obvious.
In 2016, a different logo was used by Funko and Hasbro during their 60th-anniversary celebration special releases of the "Good Luck Trolls" brand. This had "Good Luck" in joined text, with a jewel between the words "good" and "luck".
Note: do not include pre-DreamWorks logo here.
