Mineez are a small figurine line originally produced by Mattel.

Mineez are a stylized miniature figurine. They usually based upon licensing tie-ins. Each set is compactable with each other despite the different franchises, making them a standardized system. They often are sold as both sets and blind bags, containing 'rare' figurines. They are the equalevent to Mattel what the Blind Bag promotions were to Hasbro.
One notable difference is approach. Upon their first wave, there were over 100+ figurines produced. The aim is encouragement of collecting the figurines, but Mattel does not expect all 100+ figurines to be collected. Instead, the goal is just to collect all the ones the collector wants or to exchange them if they end up with a duplicate. Dolls come in different variants of the same design, so a character in one version may have plastic hair, another they may have cotton hair, or maybe glittery hair and body instead.
