Volcano Rock City is a location within the Troll Kingdom that is home to the Rock Trolls.
About[]
Volcano Rock City is an ash-covered wasteland with lava and flowing volcanoes. The skies are dark here due to ash clouds.
The location is east of Troll Forest, the location of Pop Village where the Pop Trolls live. It is also southwest of Techno Reef where the Techno Trolls live, and far southeast of Symphonyville where the Classical Trolls live.
The distance between this location and others is vague. The Rock Trolls travelled by Angler Buses quickly due to said animals being able to fly, run and swim everywhere, and were able to make short of long trips. Barb picked up Poppy in the Funk Trolls' area and reached Volcano Rock city before night fall. The rest of The Snack Pack, save Branch, left Pop Village some point after Biggie arrived in the early night, and were present in time just before Barb's victory concert took place.
In "Trollvial Pursuit", it was stated that Volcano Rock City was founded by George Thrashington.
Appearance[]
This location is home to the Rock Trolls, which they settled in after the Trolls isolated from each other. It was also the place where they kept their abducted Trolls in Trolls World Tour.
Volcano Rock City is a hot area, with lava flowing everywhere. It appears to be of high technology, and is made from leather and denim. Most of Volcano Rock City is of black, orange and red colors, presumably to match the Rock Trolls' designs.

Barb's Fortress[]
This is the home of the Rock Troll royal family, where King Thrash used to rule, and is now ruled by Queen Barb. Out the back is a giant rock concert arena.
From this fortress, Barb surveys all that she rules.
Rock Arena[]

Seen in the near end of Trolls World Tour, this is where Barb's grand finale took place and she demonstrated the power of the Strings.
Concept[]
Volcano Rock City was made from silk, leather, denim and fishnets. Its look was created by having fabric blown by a fan to see how it looked; the crew often used fabrics in real life to see how it would look in the Trolls' world. The lava is made of satin fabric.[1]
Etymology[]
Volcano Rock City is a play on two different meanings of "rock": the name of the genre, and the harden minerals and lava that are created from a volcano.
