Walter Henry "Walt" Dohrn is an American writer, director, animator, musician and voice actor.

Biography

Walter Dohrn was born on December 5, 1970 in Orange County, California, United States.

Before Trolls, he was already involved in other DreamWorks Animation movies, including Shrek the Third and Shrek Forever After. For the latter movie, he served as a head writer, voiced Rumpelstiltskin, and directed a related short titled Donkey's Christmas Shrektacular.

Dohrn was also involved in the production of the second and third seasons of SpongeBob SquarePants and the third and fourth seasons of Dexter's Laboratory. He is the father of voice actress Iris and Phoebe Dohrn.

Roles

Dohrn is the co-director of Trolls. He voiced four supporting characters in it: Smidge, Fuzzbert, Mr. Dinkles and Cloud Guy. He also did a number of minor roles.

In Trolls: The Beat Goes On!, he reprised his roles as Fuzzbert and Cloud Guy.

He directed Trolls World Tour, where he reprises the roles of Smidge, Fuzzbert and Cloud Guy, and also takes over as King Peppy. However, his role as Mr. Dinkles was limited only to the song Rainbow, Unicorns, Everything Nice, as the character's speaking voice is now usually provided by Kevin Michael Richardson.

Dorhn was the executive producer of Trolls Holiday, Tiny Diamond Goes Back To School & Trolls: Holiday in Harmony. In Trolls Holiday, he reprises his roles as Smidge and Cloud Guy, while in Trolls: Holiday in Harmony, he reprises his roles as Cloud Guy and Mr. Dinkles.

He again reprised the roles of Fuzzbert and Cloud Guy in Trolls: TrollsTopia.

Directed of Trolls Band Together, where he once again reprises his roles as King Peppy and Cloud Guy.

He also voices placeholder lines for the franchise, mostly for the movies and specials. These recordings are purely for script-animation checks.
